Wellbeing Courses

 

Wellbeing courses aim to help you better understand the mental health problems you are facing, learn new coping methods and have the chance to talk about your mental health in a safe and supportive environment. We offer 7 courses countywide including self awareness, depression, life transitions and, anger.

 

Our members also run group based activities and courses, all designed to help you improve your independence, confidence, employability and wellbeing. To find out abut other courses, get in touch with your local MHNC member.

Our aim is to help you think about your relationship with food and how this affects your mental health so that you can make positive changes.

 

2-3 sessions

Each session 2-3 hours  

Our aim is to help you better understand your experience of anger and introduce you to ways of managing your anger and improving your wellbeing.

 

4-6 sessions

Each session 2-3 hours

Our aim is to help you think about and explore ways to manage difficult transitions in your life; in particular looking at the impact of loss, change and control.

Each session 2-3 hours  

Our aim is to help you better understand what makes you anxious and why. Then we can introduce you to ways of managing your anxiety and improving your wellbeing.

 

4-6 sessions

Each session 2-3 hours

Our aim is to help you become more aware of your own personal needs, what is important to keep you well and how to notice changes to your  mental health.

Our aim is to help you better understand what makes you anxious and why. Then we can introduce you to ways of managing your anxiety and improving your wellbeing.

Our aim is to help you identify what strengths you have that can help you become more resilient and areas you can make positive changes to help you manage stress

How to access our courses? 

You can see what courses are coming up on the calendar below. All of our courses are free and available to any person experiencing a mental health difficulty and, to any person who cares for someone with a mental health difficulty.
