Mental Health Navigation

Your navigator can meet you in a public venue of your choosing to help you explore positive changes to improve your wellbeing. Your navigator will support you make your own plan to achieve these changes, make sense of local services and, access practical support for issues affecting your wellbeing; such as debt and housing. 

Mental Health Navigation If you’re experiencing stress, anxiety, depression or recovering from a mental health condition and are struggling to move forward and find the right support, then a Mental Health Navigator may be for you.

A Navigator can: 

  • Meet you in a public venue of your choosing. 

  • Actively listen to what you want to do to make positive changes to improve your wellbeing.

  • Help you assess whether you are ready to make those changes and support you in planning a pathway to them

  • Help you to find out about local services that can help with your mental health, such as local courses, counselling, or peer support. 

  • Give information and support you to access practical support for issues affecting your wellbeing, such as debt and housing. 

  • Motivate and empower you to make these changes and maintain them in the long term

 

Who can access this support?  

Our services are available to any person ages 18+ and living in Northamptonshire. Most of our services are free, however, some do incur a small cost.
