Corby Mind aims to help local people to recover from mental distress by offering a safe environment where people can learn new skills, become part of their own community and feel better about their lives.
We currently offer social, emotional and practical support within a non-judgemental environment where people can relate to how you are feeling. We aim to promote equality of opportunity and ensure that our member’s voices are heard and responded to. Our view is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all, and that treats people with experience of mental distress fairly, positively and with respect. The service provides social, emotional and practical support to service users through a variety of drop – in group work i.e. Mindfulness and Self Confidence.
We are committed to providing a professional service to help improve the quality of life for people experiencing mental distress by offering day opportunities which promote equality of opportunity, which ensure the service user’s voice is heard and responded to, and is based on good practice.
